Douglass Colony is a specialty contractor located in Colorado, specializing in roofing, solar, and other fields of construction. After ten years of their branding system designed by Monigle, Douglass Colony returned to refresh both their brand strategy and visual identity so that their system could be both more functional and impactful for their current needs.
After presenting three conceptual directions, the client chose a system that uses a base six column grid, based on their logo, that serves as a framework for their angular graphic element: the structural bars. During this process, I was responsible for the logo refinements, design system guidelines, and collateral design.
